Intro to Fly Fishing with Green Mountain Adventures

Anglers have long been drawn to the serenity of Vermont’s rivers, and now's your chance to try your hand at Fly Fishing in unmatched picturesque beauty. Green Mountain Adventures in Middlebury will lead you on a half-day (4 hour) private Fly Fishing Experience for two people ($379). No experience necessary!  The day will begin with a fitting at Green Mountain Sports in Middlebury where they have all the gear you'll need.  Then, you will meet your guide "where the fish are," usually within 30 minutes of Middlebury. Guests must be able to walk a short distance to water, and to be able to wade in shallow water. Once at the location, your private guide will give you all the instructions and tips you need to begin casting. This is a “catch and release” trip so no fish will be removed from the area. This experience is available May through October.  If possible, book 1 month or more in advance.  Full refund if canceled two weeks or more in advance.  50% refund if canceled less than two weeks up to one day in advance.  No refund for day-of cancelations. Rain or shine (fish love rain!). Guests are responsible for obtaining VT fishing license online ($21). Two guests per experienced guide. Transportation to chosen location is not included.
