Only 12 minutes away from our inn is this great orchard that has a pick-your-own open until the end of October and a farm market open year-round. Find 50+ varieties of ecologically grown apples, raspberries, award-winning hard and ice ciders, peaches, pears, apple cider, cider donuts, fresh apples pies.
Happy Valley is less than five minutes away—you could even ride your bike there! This orchard is open until November 22, 2014 and offers an apple orchard, cider mill, farm stand, and a host of local fruits and vegetables.
Douglas Orchards
Open until Thanksgiving, this orchard is only a 20-minute jaunt from our inn and offers Farm stand and PYO apples, raspberries, and pumpkins.
Whether you are trying a new recipe that asks for some fresh produce, baking some homemade pies or applesauce, or just want an excuse to eat a warm, fresh doughnut, these orchards have it all.
